Well we're getting closer to the four year anniversury of the passing of extreme metal pioneer Chuck Shuldiner. He passed away on December13, 2001 thanks to a losing battle with brain cancer. He'll deffinatly be missed by the metal comunity as a whole. Basicly the guy was a genius, and way ahead of his time for sure. He basicly pioneered what we know as death metal. Now allot of bands were doing that sort of extreme metal before he came around, groups like massacre to name one example. He came along and perfected that thrash style and made it more brutal, not only that, he added allot of technicality to it as well. So chuck, if you're up there somewhere in that big recording studio in the sky, R.I.P. metal brother, you'll be missed.
